Mrs. Echols classroom blog project

Hello Students,

I am so excited to introduce our classroom blog project to you this year. Each week during  our Monday computer time we will be blogging about different topics we are covering in our studies. On Wednesday's we will have the chance to read each others blogs and post comments to our fellow classmates about their blog entries.

For our first blog this year I would like you to answer the following questions:
1.) What was your favorite thing you learned in first grade?

2.) What are looking forward to learning in second grade?

3.) What scares you the most about being a second grader?

I will be reading your blogs each week to check for proper grammar and spelling. On Tuesday we will have a conference about your blog entry and go over any problems that need to be fixed.

I am looking forward to reading your responses.

How to use blogs in a classroom

I will use blogs in my classroom to keep parents up to date with important information and happenings in my classroom. Parents will be able to visit my blog and read about what their children have been learning about, and what upcoming events they should be aware of. I will probably plan to update my blog once a week. That way parents will be informed on a regular basis about what is going on in their child's classroom, but it won't take too much time for me. I would also like to add pictures, so parents can take a peek at what my classroom learning environment is like!
